Watermelon forked ice (Granita)

You really can’t make anything easier then a granita.  What it is that? Nothing but a delightfully flavored ice, that you scrape across with a fork until you have some delicate ice crystals to melt on your tongue.

Watermelon Granita

Cut one small seedless watermelon into chunks and add to your blender (works well in a Magic Bullet too, just have to repeat). Add the juice of two limes.  You can add two tablespoons of brown rice syrup, agave or another sweetener. Blend until liquefied.

Add to a plastic container and freeze until very hard.  Take a fork and scrape across until you have enough to fill your serving bowl.

Easy peasy and the family will love it!
