My family loves bananas! Since I started making green smoothies I tend to discourage the eating of bananas because I want to save them for my smoothies.
I’ve never seen banana coupons, so I went on the hunt for some cheap bananas. Here’s my small list that will hopefully grow overtime, then it will be a true price comparison!
BJ’s – $1.97 per punch, usually weighing it at around 3 lbs.
Stop n’ Shop – $.69 per lb, you can sometimes find bananas on their discount produce rack, I make it a habit to check this rack on every visit. If the produce is over ripe it is great for use in stews and baked goods.
Trader Joe’s – $.19 per banana
H Mart – $.99 per lb
Lambert’s – $.49 per lb
